Banks coming to Amaravati: the full list and where each office project stands
This page goes bank by bank through the offices announced for Amaravati. It keeps announcements, land agreements and tenders apart from an office that you can actually walk into.

Every institution in the named programme
The November 2025 programme named 13 banking institutions and two insurers. NABARD is one of the 13. RBI is listed separately further down.
The table covers the named programme and other land allotments we found sources for. It is not a list of the branches already working in Vijayawada, Guntur or the capital villages.

The most recent dated news
Each page below links to its source. We checked the evidence on 2 October 2026. That does not mean every project had something new to report in October.
- 25 September 2026: SBI listed a consultancy tender for proposed quarters for senior officers. This is about housing. It is not a notice that the Local Head Office is opening.
- 30 September 2026: APGB listed interior work for proposed head-office premises at Vidya Nagar, Guntur. This is in Guntur and does not mean the Amaravati project is finished.
- 20 June 2026: reporting on a CRDA review said 11 of the 13 banks had handed construction to CPWD. The report did not name those 11.
What each project stage means
| Stage | What it confirms | What it does not confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Land allotted / agreement signed | A documented step on the land. | A finished building. |
| Foundation ceremony | A formal start to the project. | How much has actually been built. |
| Tender or consultant selection | The bank is buying the work named in the notice. | That the contract is awarded, the work is done or the office is open. |
| Construction progress | A dated report on work at that building. | That the public can visit or that every service is available. |
| Opened / relocated | An official opening or change-of-address notice. | That every branch service is offered at an administrative office. |
Are HDFC, ICICI and Axis on this list?
They are not named in the 15-institution programme we cite. We did not find a new Amaravati headquarters project for them. A local branch or ATM is a different kind of presence.
Search results for Amravati in Maharashtra can look very similar. Check the state, the institution and the project location before you trust a result.

Questions people ask
Are all these banks already open in the new financial district?
No. The table shows the evidence we found for each proposed office. It does not say any of them is open. The branches you can use today are separate from these office projects.
Does a bank office announcement guarantee a loan on my LPS plot?
No. An office project is not a loan sanction. The bank will still assess you, the property records and its own lending rules.
Want a straight answer about a plot or a village?
We live and work in the capital villages. Send the survey number or LP number and we will tell you what we know, including the things that should make you pause.
