AIIMS Mangalagiri: a working hospital and medical college
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences at Mangalagiri already treats patients and teaches doctors. It is a working hospital today, not a project for the future.

What is already running
The institute's official hospital page describes outpatient and inpatient services and lists 500 working hospital beds. That page does not show live bed availability. It also records that inpatient services first started for COVID patients in July 2020.
On 6 August 2026 a burns and plastic surgery block opened, and news reports put the hospital at 970 beds after it. The official page may take time to show the new count, so the two figures can differ for a while.
Medical education
The official admissions section covers MBBS counselling and admissions for 2026. For the documents you need and where to report, follow the institute's admission notice for your session.
