NHAI invites bids for four Amaravati Outer Ring Road packages

The Amaravati Outer Ring Road has reached the construction tender stage. The government portal lists four six-lane packages under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM), where the government pays part of the cost during building and the rest over the years after.

The published dates

All four notices were published on 2 October 2026 at 09:00. When we checked, the portal listed 18 November 2026 at 11:00 as the last time to submit bids, and 19 November at 11:30 for opening them. Dates can change, so check each tender and any corrigendum before you rely on them.

What news reports add

A report on 3 October 2026 put the estimated project cost at ₹11,537.70 crore and the bid project cost at ₹13,091.75 crore, with 1,095 days to build each package. It gives the length as 195.23 km including the 5.3 km spur, which matches the chainages above. That report says the contracts may be DBFOT or hybrid annuity; the portal notices say hybrid annuity.

A separate report on 28 September put the whole project, land included, at ₹30,491 crore, with about 7,400 acres needed across 97 villages. Those figures come from news reports, not from the tender documents.

How to find the notices yourself

Open the government eProcurement portal and search for the exact tender ID. The portal's detail links stop working after a session ends, so the IDs above are the reliable way to find the notices again. The package documents give the route, the bid conditions and any revised dates.

What happens after this

Inviting bids is one step in buying the work. Choosing the contractor, signing the agreement and fixing a start date are separate steps that come later. This notice does not mean road construction has started or that any stretch is open. We list the package names exactly as the portal gives them, because it uses Davuluru for package 2 and Kolavennu for package 3.
