Nelapadu
Nelapadu is the seat of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh. The court has sat here since 1 January 2019, in a G+2 building with 23 court halls on four acres, and a much larger permanent High Court complex is being built here with a 2027 target. With 1,028 residents in the 2011 census, Nelapadu is one of the smallest villages to hold one of the largest institutions.

Nelapadu at a glance
The village is on the Thullur–Guntur road, with APSRTC buses from Guntur. Lawyers, people with cases and court staff now bring a full working day's traffic to a place that once had none.

- Half an acre allotted to HPCL by the CRDA authority on 18 September 2026. The reports do not say what it will be used for or when.
