NABARD’s Chetana 2025 publication describes talks between its chairman and the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister. The account on printed page 44 includes the proposed office complex in Amaravati.
NABARD was also named in the November 2025 office programme. A proposal and a foundation programme show the intention to build. They do not show that the new office is open.
What NABARD does
NABARD stands for National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development. Its publication talks about rural infrastructure, self-help groups, farmer-producer organisations and support for cooperative institutions.
This is development work done through other institutions. Do not expect the new office to have a savings-account counter, or to give a loan on an individual LPS plot.

What it could mean for farmers near the capital
NABARD’s work reaches farmers through banks, cooperatives and farmer groups. An office in Amaravati would bring that work closer to the villages that gave their land for the capital.
It would not change how a bank decides on a loan for your plot or your house. That decision stays with the lending bank.
