Hotels coming to Amaravati: what is being built and what is only planned
Several hotels and a convention centre are planned in Amaravati, and each is at a different stage. A foundation ceremony, a land agreement and a hotel that takes bookings are three different things. The list below keeps them apart.

Other hotel names that have been announced
Published hotel lists also name Hyatt, Vivanta, Crowne Plaza, Daspalla, GRT, Green Park, Fortune, Ginger and an IRCTC hotel. These are announcements. They are not a checked list of active building sites, and we have not found a current construction milestone for each of them.

Courtyard: we use the later announcement
APCRDA's May announcement describes 176 rooms in two towers on two acres, with a developer target of 2029. Earlier news about the agreement said 150 rooms. We go by the later announcement. The 2029 target is a plan, not a confirmed opening.
Booking a stay or judging a site
Before you count a planned hotel as a place to stay, check that the operator is taking bookings on its own website. Novotel Vijayawada Varun is a different, existing property, not the Amaravati project. If you are using a proposed hotel as a landmark for land, check its address, its permissions and the road that actually reaches it.
