RBI, LIC and New India Assurance in Amaravati: what each has planned
RBI, LIC and New India Assurance do very different jobs. Each has its own plans in Amaravati and its own evidence, so we list them separately.

RBI: two locations confirmed by APCRDA
A land agreement for staff housing is not the date the regional office will open. APCRDA’s statement does not say how much has been built.
RBI is India’s central bank. Its office here will not be a branch where individuals take home or plot loans.

LIC and New India Assurance
These are the two insurers in the reported group of 15 institutions. Neither is a commercial bank.
LIC’s land agreement describes about 11,000 square metres of building and about 1,250 jobs. That is a plan, not a building. We did not find an opening date for either company’s new Amaravati office. Their existing offices keep serving customers at the addresses they list.

How the numbers add up
- The foundation programme names 13 banking institutions, and NABARD is one of them.
- LIC and NIACL bring the programme’s total to 15 institutions.
- RBI’s office and staff housing are tracked separately, from APCRDA’s own announcement.
- The Income Tax department is a government department linked to the plan, not another bank.
Before you visit an office
- Pick the institution that actually handles your request.
- Use its current official office or branch directory.
- Confirm the address and the working hours.
- For insurance, keep your policy number and the details of the office that services it ready.
- Until public access is confirmed, treat a project location as a building site, not an office.
