Venkatapalem is where the first 18.3 km of the Seed Access Road ended in 2018, and where work on its second phase to Undavalli started again in September 2025. It shares the BITS Pilani land with Mandadam, and it lies on the Pala Vagu, where APCRDA was clearing blockages in 2026.
