Inavolualso Ainavolu
Inavolu is the university village. VIT-AP's 200-acre campus opened here on 28 November 2017, next to the Secretariat, and a third Indian campus for XLRI was reported on the land next door. Revenue records spell the name Ainavolu; APCRDA's layout list uses Inavolu.

Inavolu at a glance
The Chief Minister laid VIT-AP's foundation stone on 3 November 2016 as the start of an education district. This is the master plan's Knowledge City taking real shape.
What is here
- VIT-AP University: 19 UG, 4 PG, 4 integrated, 4 dual and 16 research programmes, about 18 km from Vijayawada Junction.
- XLRI's proposed Amaravati campus. The campus was reported in 2025, but we have not verified a construction milestone or an opening date. See education institutions.
- SBI staff housing. On 21 August 2026 SBI and APCRDA signed an agreement for ₹214 crore of staff quarters on 2.05 acres here, with building planned from June 2027.
- LPS Unit 13.

A Phase 1 village whose layout is Unit 13. The land for VIT-AP came from the pooled land bank.
Before you buy in Inavolu
- VIT-AP brings demand for hostels and mixed use today, and XLRI may add more later. Commercial plots on the campus approach cost more, so test that price against the rents people actually pay.
