Pedamaddurualso Pedda Madduru

Pedamadduru is the smallest Phase 2 village by notified land, with 1,018 acres of patta land. It is also one of the smallest by population: 1,400 residents in the 2011 census, on 464 hectares south-east of Amaravathi town. The same census found 1,393 girls for every 1,000 boys among its children, an unusually high figure.

APSRTC buses from Vijayawada, Amaravathi and Mangalagiri serve the village, and it has one MPP upper primary school.

  • South-east of Amaravathi, the mandal headquarters and the old Buddhist town on the Krishna.
  • Part of the Palnadu block of Phase 2, which has 7,465 acres of patta land and 97 acres of assigned land.

Land pooling status

1,018 acres of patta land were notified for Phase 2 in November 2025, and the village's notification was out before the launch in January 2026. On 18 September 2026 The New Indian Express, citing APCRDA, reported that 764.23 acres had been pooled against the village target of 1,018 acres: 75.07%.
