Krishnayapalem
Krishnayapalem is APCRDA's Unit 1, the first layout in the numbering. It covers 634 hectares south-west of Mangalagiri town. Its gram panchayat won the Nirmala Grama Puraskaram in 2013, and Land Conflict Watch named it as one of four villages in its account of the capital project.

Krishnayapalem at a glance
The 2011 census counted 1,560 residents, with a literacy rate of 69.52%. The village is on both the Vijayawada–Amaravati and the Amaravati–Thullur–Mangalagiri bus routes. In the e-lottery of 18 July 2026, three of its farmers received 14 plots.
