Krishnayapalem
Krishnayapalem is APCRDA's Unit 1, the first layout in the numbering, and sits south-west of Mangalagiri town on 634 hectares. Its gram panchayat won the Nirmala Grama Puraskaram in 2013, and the village was one of four named by Land Conflict Watch in its account of the capital project.

The 2011 census counted 1,560 residents with a literacy rate of 69.52%. It lies on both the Vijayawada–Amaravati and the Amaravati–Thullur–Mangalagiri bus routes, and three of its farmers received 14 plots in the 18 July 2026 e-lottery.
