Amaravati news, October 2026

October opened with the two big transport tenders. NHAI called bids for the Outer Ring Road on 2 October, and Railways called the fourth package of the Errupalem–Nambur line on 4 October. APCRDA also put out a draft resettlement scheme for land it will acquire. On 6 and 11 October the Chief Minister and the municipal minister reviewed capital works. Nothing here is an award or a completion: the ORR bids are not due until 18 November and the railway package until 23 November.
